THE THERAPEUTIC TECHNIQUES BEHIND YOUR TREATMENT
Every session at Wellness From Siam begins with you—your goals, your body, and how it responds that day.
Rather than asking you to choose a massage style before your appointment, our therapists evaluate your goals, areas of tension, mobility, and comfort to develop the treatment that best meets your needs. Most sessions naturally combine several therapeutic techniques into a single treatment.
Below are some of the therapeutic techniques your therapist may use during your visit. Together, they create a treatment designed specifically for you.
HOW WE WORK
Ashiatsu
Ashiatsu uses the therapist's feet to deliver broad, consistent pressure that reaches deeper muscle layers while remaining comfortable. Because the pressure is distributed over a larger surface area, many clients find it provides deep therapeutic work without sharp or uncomfortable pressure.

Traditional Thai
Traditional Thai techniques combine rhythmic compression, assisted stretching, and gentle joint movement to improve mobility, relieve muscular tension, and restore natural movement. Particularly beneficial for stiffness, reduced flexibility, and muscles that feel overworked.

Sports Massage
Despite its name, Sports Massage isn't just for athletes. It is designed for anyone whose muscles are stressed by exercise, repetitive movement, or an active lifestyle. Your therapist may combine stretching, mobility work, and targeted muscle techniques to support recovery, improve performance, and reduce the risk of injury.

Deep Tissue
Targets deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to relieve chronic tension, improve mobility, and address areas affected by repetitive strain or long-standing muscular tightness. Pressure is always adjusted to your comfort level.

Hot Stone Therapy
Smooth heated stones gently warm muscles, allowing tension to release before deeper therapeutic work begins. The warmth encourages relaxation while helping muscles respond more comfortably to treatment.

Swedish Techniques
Gentle, flowing techniques that promote relaxation, improve circulation, and calm the nervous system. Often combined with deeper therapeutic work to create a treatment that is both effective and deeply relaxing.

Therapeutic Facial Massage
Focuses on the muscles of the face, jaw, scalp, and neck to relieve muscular tension, encourage circulation, and promote relaxation. Particularly beneficial for jaw tightness, headaches, facial tension, and stress that builds throughout the day.

Lymphatic Massage
A gentle, rhythmic technique designed to encourage healthy lymphatic circulation and support the body's natural fluid movement. Often chosen by clients seeking relief from mild swelling, fluid retention, or a feeling of heaviness, when appropriate for their individual needs.
